My Words. My Stories. Finally, My Music.

 

I've been writing since I was a teenager. Writing became a way for me to express what I was feeling when I couldn't always say the words out loud. Over the years, those words have captured experiences, memories, people, observations, and pieces of my life that I wanted to put into words.

I've always loved music and have always had a good ear for what I like, but I don't sing and I don't play an instrument. For most of my life, that meant the songs I could hear taking shape through my words could never become much more than lyrics on a page.  Advancements in technology changed that.

Today, I can finally bring those words to life in ways I never thought possible. Through Battlefield, I explore the heavier side of life: struggle, survival, healing, and the experiences that shape us. GK Lyrics gives me the freedom to follow an idea wherever it leads, regardless of genre, subject, or style.

After decades of writing, hearing my words become actual songs has opened an exciting new chapter for me and added something I never expected to the legacy I hope to leave behind.
